A small update from MisterLopez

Hi everyone, MisterLopez here!

Well then, it seems that I am on the road to recovery at last and it’s about time too. I find that being sick is an annoying and time-consuming process and prefer to recover as fast as possible. Hopefully I should be healthy enough for my trip back to Stockholm (from Uppsala) for my weekly meetup with my boss, MissLopez. I am hoping that the snow down there won’t be causing any major issues, which it unfortunately usually does.

It has otherwise been going slow for the last few days work-wise with me being sick and all, and also there are quite a few obstacles for the changes that needs to be made on the site. I am far from being an expert when it comes to coding, though I am slowly learning as I move forward. That fancy little picture above should roughly give those unfamiliar with coding an idea of what programmers and the like have to read and write. It can give anyone a headache after sufficient exposure.

Nevertheless, the tailoring and maintenance of the site will go on.

Until next time!

Hot tea versus common cold: stay healthy this winter!

Hi everyone, MisterLopez here!

Well, this week doesn’t start out too well for me. I’ve been down with a bit of a cold for these last couple of days and for me, being sick is one heck of a nuisance. I suppose it is only to be expected as the winter cold is upon us. I haven’t really taken any measurements against the cold this time either; something which I normally do. The best way to deal with a cold is by countering it with something hot. And no, whilst there have been quite a few pictures of hot women on this blogg lately, that is unfortunately not quite enough to fight a cold.

Tea is my weapon of choice against the cold or flu. Reason for it is because it can be so versatile when it comes to what you have in it. I prefer honey myself as that is the best anti-cold combination as it soothes a sore throat quite nicely. A slice of lemon works too if you want to go for the more sour approach. I’ve heard that ginger can be a valid addition, but this is not something that I’ve tried myself. Ginger tea on the other hand is supposed to be one of the ultimate cold killers, though the taste may not be to everyone’s liking.

Whilst I like tea, I am not actually too fond of the many different kinds of tea that exist. I tend to stick to black tea varieties, my favorite being the good old Earl Grey.

Stay warm and healthy folks!
