Miss Miranda doesn’t like “Domenica”
Ciao a tutti!!
Miss Miranda from Italy again!
I mean I do not like Sundays…I don’t know what happen on Sundays, but I feel homesick… so Miss Lopez, I’ve been spending the day watching Spanish TV online just to feel a little bit closer to my people.
Being here at University in Italy learning journalism is a really good opportunity for me and for my career, I’m learning too a new language, meeting amazing new people, cultures, traditions and an endless list of receipts! But sometimes I need that cuddle from my friends and family, maybe this is just because is Sunday and I’m sure that you’ll feel so much better tomorrow!!
Sundays in Italy are the worst day of the week. Everything is close, seriously, everything!! Most of the Cafes are close, so the thing that I like the most to do on Sundays is drinking tea while I’m watching Spanish TV and reading the news from my country!
Thank you everybody. You know, blogging cheer me up!
I wish you the best for the next week! And Feelgood Womanhood!

Hot tea versus common cold: stay healthy this winter!
Hi everyone, MisterLopez here!
Well, this week doesn’t start out too well for me. I’ve been down with a bit of a cold for these last couple of days and for me, being sick is one heck of a nuisance. I suppose it is only to be expected as the winter cold is upon us. I haven’t really taken any measurements against the cold this time either; something which I normally do. The best way to deal with a cold is by countering it with something hot. And no, whilst there have been quite a few pictures of hot women on this blogg lately, that is unfortunately not quite enough to fight a cold.
Tea is my weapon of choice against the cold or flu. Reason for it is because it can be so versatile when it comes to what you have in it. I prefer honey myself as that is the best anti-cold combination as it soothes a sore throat quite nicely. A slice of lemon works too if you want to go for the more sour approach. I’ve heard that ginger can be a valid addition, but this is not something that I’ve tried myself. Ginger tea on the other hand is supposed to be one of the ultimate cold killers, though the taste may not be to everyone’s liking.
Whilst I like tea, I am not actually too fond of the many different kinds of tea that exist. I tend to stick to black tea varieties, my favorite being the good old Earl Grey.
Stay warm and healthy folks!
MisterLopez
