The Swedish School of textiles and Jennifer Blom fashion shows at the Mercedes Benz fashion week of Stockholm
And for the debut of the fashion section at Miss Lopez more pictures from the Mercedes Benz Fashion week of Stockholm.
The Swedish school of textiles show took place this morning at the Fashion Pavilion.
Among the 21 designers from the school I’d like to emphasize some collections. Maja Dixdotter showed a creative collection using mostly common fabrics from the kitchen. It was a risky selection but it worked perfectly and with a connection between the five outfits she showed. Also Ida Klamborn whose collection was fully made in red. So girly, so romantic that I loved it. I’d say it was the only collection I wouldn’t mind to have in my closet but the red long skirt was the star of the collection. Anna Lidström made also a very good job ( all of them actually!) using plastic fabrics on her designs she got such a great combination, don’t you love the red dress??? I don’t know what’s wrong with me and red now!!!
The second was Jennifer Blom’s show, also at the Fashion Pavilion.
The ocean was the protagonist. A collection full of green and blue, perfect for spring with so soft fabrics that makes you want to wear it. Long romantic dresses were the connection point of a great and wearable collection.
Hello everyone!! This is Miss Miranda back with fashion news from the Mercedes Benz Fashion week Stockholm!!
White and Orange, that’s all I can say
Cheap Monday spring summer 2012 collection. Amazing combination between colours even though orange was the protagonist. Blue was also accepted for men plus stripe prints always in pale colours. They left black behind for a while.
They showed a mature net-a-porter collection following their Swedish legacy. Mixing their traditional jeans with the stripe ones (looooooove them!) with open back dresses and tops for girls and cute t-shirts with methacrylate pockets for guys. The round sunglasses , coloured soles and sweaters riddles with holes where their touch. Great collection for next summer from the Swedish maison! Good job.
After it we went to Berns for the Altewai.saome fashion show.
The glass beads and methacrylate combinations for tops dresses and skirts were just an amazing creation for this season. Those pieces have such a hard work that anyone in the saloon could ever imagine. Their glass frames without glasses where just brilliant. Not to talk about the huge platforms also made by methacrylate! Perfection and trends mixed in an amazing collection.

Hello readers! This is Miss Miranda once again from Stockholm!!
First day for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Stockholm for Spring/Summer 2012!! Rodebjer was the one chosen to open the fashion week this morning. This Swedish brand showed a colourful collection for next summer, with comfortable garments.
With the idea of “ anything goes” mixing prints and colours in every way they got in to a happy ending. Nice job for the Swedish maison!!! Even though jersey is not a fabric for Mediterranean summer but Swedish!
Today the shows go on, so I’ll be here to bring you the latest news!
