Hi! You know I am a bit home sick this weekend! This is what happen when you´re hybrid as I call myself or international citizen, as you wish. My heart is divided in two betwen Sweden where I ive and Spain where I come from. I guess is the same for Ricky Martin, originally from Puerto Rico, now from Spain too as according the Spanish paper El Pais he has just got the Spanish nationality. Cool!

It´s said he is going to marry his boy friend in Spain.

These few days sure have been hectic and busy, with Christmas and what not else. I hope that everyone have had a good time and had the opportunity to celebrate somehow.

Anyway, I read an article about Ricky Martin (to the left – picture by Getty Images) giving an interview about what would be the ideal traits for a partner. As most of you know, he came out this year with the information that he was homosexual on his Twitter account, which may have surprised quite a few.

I find it to be a good thing that homosexuality is becoming so accepted around the world. The reason for this is because I think that the majority of those that are homosexual tend to have a somewhat different view on the world, and tend to be very friendly people. I once had an English teacher who was gay and he also had this good and friendly nature over him – whilst being strict of course. Other members of my family have befriended or are friends with people who are gay, and in every case I have gotten to hear how good and kind they are.

Stay openminded whenever possible!

It’s been quite a while since I put something up here so I figured it was about time to put something up again.

And of course it will be a rather amusing topic as well originating from the buzz about rumors regarding Ricky Martin’s political views and how he seemingly supports the Venezuelan president, Hugo Chavez. Ricky is known for keeping personal beliefs and views to himself, so it remains yet to be seen whether these rumors are something taken out of a context or not.

It made me realize though that most celebrities are probably very secretive about their political views and probably for a good reason too. As a celebrity you have seemingly no right to “be wrong” because that could potentially shatter your whole career. And politics as such is a very serious topic amongst many people.

It is a bit sad yet wise at the same time, because celebrities are still human after all and are entitled to have opinions just like anyone else, but on the other hand the world would probably not be a better place if fame was used in order to propagate opinions, again because these topics are a serious matter for many people. Fame certainly is a double-edged sword. The question remains whether the rumors of Ricky’s supposed statement will have a negative impact, whether they are true or not.

Hello! I am going to bed soon but before that I just want to give you my tip to watch Oprah show tomorrow if you have the chance. I am not sure I’ll have the time so you’d better watch.

You know Ricky Martin admitted to the world to be gay thanks to social media like Twitter and he felt “released” after that: Feelgood networking as I call it.  Now People.com is reporting that Latino Ricky Martin told Oprah Winfrey during their exclusive interview that he “just started crying like a little baby” after he sent the email announcing to the world that he was gay. Martin’s interview with the talk show queen airs tomorrow, November 2nd.

I like people when they are honest, so Thanks Ricky for your honesty.
