Happy Easter everybody! Follow Miss Lopez in La Coruña today…
Here in Spain, Easter has a religious touch…Time to go to churches & enjoy the city…Follow me!
I went to visit the church where I have been christianized as a little baby: Santa Lucia church in La Coruña in the center of the city.
Then I went to Mendez Nuñez gardens in the center as well
Here me with the statue of an aristocrat of La Coruña and writter, as well as a woman with social presence in the society more than hundred years ago: The Contess Emilia Pardo Bazán. A very good writter!! I read her books at school…This is FEELGOOD WOMANHOOD too. Viva female icons! This time from Galicia!
Then I went to have an ice cream made of real yogurt. I love it!
So much healthier!!
Then I went to the Old City. Here Santa Maria church from around 1000 years ago!!! From the Romanic style! Lovely!
Still in the old city. Here in la plaza de Azcarraga. It reminds me of my younger years!
I used to go around here…too
Here me again at Santa Maria church. I really love it!So romantic!
Here watching La Coruña Obelisco. I hope you like it as much as I do!
Juan Florez street. I used to live close to here too
Then I went to this American bar. Nice!
It reminds me of my American visits. I went there with my family.
And to finish my sightseeing of the day I went to a very old church too around 1000 years old, Santa Eulalia de Lians in Oleiros
inside the church. After so many years 1000 !!! still working…
Happy Easter 2012 everybody wherever you are & Feelgood! By Miss López
