Hola amigos, Miss Barcelona is back to share a Little bit of the pink ribbon event that we had yesterday.

A taste of live was the name of the event and I have to tell you that it was very tasteful!, personalize pralines from Foodisim , glamorous dresses from Vintage Studio, nice objects donated by our sponsors to be auction as for example: modern cloths from Hunky Dory, playful crystal bowls from Orrefors and a professional make up and photo shoot by Beauty Team. Thank you all for your support!!

It was a very nice night, were all the attendees could hear which are the benefits of blogging from our dear chef redactor Miss Lopez. VIVA BLOGGING!!  :-)

They could also get their makeup and hair fixed by makeup artist and colleague Marisel, mingle and get to know other amazing women and the first 50 got home a fabulous goodie bag.

I have to say that I had a very good time organizing this event, being there, meeting all these amazing people so I have to thank Maria Forssen from So Stockholm and Shenet for this great experience. VIVA MARIA!!

In this energetic, honest talk, Jeremy Gilley tells the story of how this crazy idea became real, the practical challenge is huge, starting with: how to convince both parties in a conflict to put down their weapons and trust the other side to do the same? But Gilley has recorded successes. For instance, on September 21, 2008, some 1.85 million children under 5 years old, in seven Afghan provinces where conflict has previously prevented access, were given a vaccine for polio.

On September 21, 2011, Gilley will start the 365-day-long countdown to Truce 2012, a hoped-for global day of guns-down ceasefire and worldwide action toward peace.
He says: “The only logical progression is to work towards a global cessation of hostilities on Peace Day — from violence in our homes and schools, through to armed conflict.”

Buon giorno a tutti!! Today we’re going to talk about 3patas studio – three legs- a visit to Spanish design.

3PATAS is a creative industrial design studio based in Barcelona it is an example of  is product, space, concept and innovation… highly creative solutions which satisfy clients and users 110%.
3PATAS is made up of Carla Neila, Isabel González and Santiago Hermosín. The studio was born in 2010 with 3 strong projects presented at Super Studio Piu, Milan Design Week 2010 (Zona Tortona) and the Casa Pasarela fair in Madrid.
Recently they ‘ve been selected to be part of the Nude Generation exhibition which showcases up and coming designers as part of Valencia Design Week 2011.
They create products with human touch always maintaining warmth and collective imagination and innovation, looking for the user’s emotional experience.

For 3patas A new project also means detaching themselves in order to arrive to a totally pure concept, like a child creating his/her own games without preconceived ideas.
