Miss Barcelona-Hightlights from El clásico

messi y ronaldo at misslopez

Hello my dear friends, Miss Barcelona is back to share with you some interesting news from Spain. Yesterday was the day that a lot of football fans were expecting with great excitement because Real Madrid and Barcelona met in EL CLÁSICO, played at Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid. VIVA EL CLÁSICO!!! :-)

The game was very tight as expected; these are the best two teams in La Liga, so it was very exciting to watch the game because it was football at its best level. Both teams fought for the victory and it is no strange that the final result was 1-1 both goals coming from penalties, one scored by Messi and another scored by Ronaldo.

This was the first of the 4 games where Real Madrid and Barcelona will measure up their strength, the first one in La Liga, I have to say that a lot of football experts did already comment before the game that a tight was expected because Barcelona has a big distance from Real, 8 points, so It would not make a big difference if they  had a draw but they are expecting a different game and different results in the next encounters in Copa del Rey and Champions League semifinals respectively. VIVA SPANISH FOOTBALL!!!!

Isn’t it exciting!!!, so many games with these two great teams!!!, well it is a bit of a war here in Miss Lopez you know, because I obviously sheer for Barcelona and Miss Lopez, sheers for Real Madrid. But don’t worry, we won’t have any cat fight because of this, or will we??? ;-)

Stay connected for more news, always, with a Latin touch. VIVA LATIN TOUCH!!!!

Misslopez News: Football can make you happier! and Casillas as well

Hi my friends!. Yes it is true, football kan make you happier!. Look what I have found out!. According to an study on the World Cup produced by the Coca-Cola Institute of Happiness has been revealed that Iker Casillas is the player who has made the Spanish people happiest(40 percent) during the celebration of the World Cup, followed by Andrés Iniesta ( 25 per cent) and David Villa (15 per percent). Moreover, according to Spanish respondents, sportsmanship, struggle and unity are the adjectives that best define the Spanish national team and 70 per cent of Spanish people have been very happy about Spain’s victory in the World Cup. For most of the Spanish (75 percent) that Spain has won the World Cup has made  people happier in their environment, more connected to the people around (66 percent) and  happier with themselves (65 percent).

I am sure about all these. Myself has become happier after the victory. The only thing is life must go on all the time so it doesn´t last forever but the spirit is forever…

Keep believing in your dreams and as Casillas has said: “dreams come true sometimes”.

“Casillas, Casillas, como Casillas no hay ninguno”, we sang me and my friends during the final match so Viva Casillas

Feelgood

Misslopez News: Shakira Isabel supports Spain tonight as well as me

Hi everybody!. I am from Spain and I support Spain at the World Cup tonight, of course. The die is cast and Shakira is one of the stars of the closing ceremony that will precede the ‘Grand Final’ World Cup in South Africa. In the match between Spain and the Netherlands, the Colombian singer has clear preferences: “I wish you the best of luck to Spain. I have been with the Spanish team from the start and I hope the octopus Paul makes no mistake.” To which she added: “I must confess that as a Hispanic, I have a moral duty to support Spain, but also I have good friends on the team.”

And so that everything goes great for her performance, Shakira was rehearsing yesterday her song “Waka Waka” but also had time to prove her ability with the ball at Soccer City in Johannesburg where tonight ‘The Red’ could become a World Cup winner.

I hope, We hope and Feelgood

I tell you more later and wellcome with your comments!

Chile v.s. Spain tomorrow!

Hi everyone!
So tomorrow  Chile is playing against Spain in the FIFA World Cup in South Africa and I’m really excited,I don’t know why because I am not that in to football, but maybe it’s just because it’s Chile who’s playing
Who do you hope wins?
Personally Im hoping for Chile of course. But we’ll see,  It will be really exciting.

Historically Spain have the edge over Chile, they have won six and drawn one of their seven meetings with Chile, scoring 18 goals and conceding only three in the process.

Who do you think is going to win?
Feelgood
