Getting ready to my trip tomorrow to Santiago de Compostela. The final destination for those interesting in doing the “the Pilgrim Way”…do you know?
Santiago de Compostela is a very important city for the whole Christianity and already before the Medieval times pilgrims from all over the world did the Pilgrims way to meet the Jesus apostle Saint Jacob (Santiago in Spanish)…Very interesting.
Ive been there many times, actually Ive studied law at university there before moving to Sweden and this town give me lots os memories…Fun going there again and this time by train from La Coruña. Now late at night so I must go now to get ready for tomorrow…and of course sleep as well 🙂
I show some pictures from both La Coruña and Santiago de Compostela
Here La Coruña, where I was born…
a peninsula surrounded by the Atlantic sea
on my wat to Santiago in just 20 minutes…by train
The cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Do you know that in Galicia we speak galician language as well? I haven’t told you I speak Galician too…Very close to Portuguese. “Falas ti o galego?…Eu falo galego. ” 🙂
I look forward to travelling again….I let you know more about my trip tomorrow…
