Miss Barcelona interviews young entrepreneur Patrik Bergfeldt

miss barcelona with patrik bergfeldt

Miss Barcelona and young entrepreneur Patrik Bergfeldt

Hola amigos, Miss Barcelona is back with an interview that I am sure would be inspirational to all those young entrepreneur that, have not taking the step into starting their own business yet but are seriously considering it.

I met Patrik at SOSTOCKHOLM fashion show this week and I was really impress with his story and that is why I wanted to talk to him.

Hi Patrik, thank you for giving us this interview. To start with I would like for you to introduce yourselve to our readers. Who is Patrik?

My name is Patrik Bergfeldt and I’m 21 years old and I’m coming from the beginning from a town in Sweden called Örebro. Now I am living in Stockholm working as a PR-consultant on my own company Communicate PR. We work with different companies, some of them within fashion, education and business development. I first started out as a PR-assistant at a Stockholm based PR-firm and since then I’ve built my own brand. On my spare time I am deeply involved in theatre and acting here in Stockholm. I’m currently attending an acting school with a great reputation called S.E.T. I am also an active member of the Green party with an assignment for the leisure and tourism board in my hometown.

I am very impress with you I must said you are so young and already driving you own PR company. How did you decide that you wanted to work in PR and why did you start your own company?

I was given the opportunity to be an intern at a successful PR company after a friend had called me and said that he had just spoken with the owner of the company and they would like me to send them my résumé and call them, and so I did. The day after I called the owner and she wanted me to start right away. I was obviously happy but I told her that I had no where to live in Stockholm because I at the time was still living in my hometown, and she replied that I could stay at her place for a while, so I just moved in.

Starting my own PR Company was a necessity after I finished my internship as PR-assistant because I was given so many jobs and projects so I had to start my own company. Fortunetly I’ve been blessed with great contacts from my previous jobs so I haven’t had to look for work and customers because they have came to me instead.

Which are your current projects and which are your goals for 2012?

I’m currently working on a project involving the Swedish Hollywood wife Maria Montazami’s own brand Maria Montazami Collection. I’ve just finished the first press viewing for the new line of bags at So Stockholm Gallery. Everything went as planned and I’m so glad it all went well. Next event is on the Stockholm Fashion Week where we will be hosting several events at Hotel Stureplan for Maria Montazami Collection. I’m currently booking interviews for her with journalists and Tv-programmes. It is all very exciting because it is a real hype surrounding Maria including her own collection. The press is calling me instead of me calling them.

Some of my other projects for the year are still in the pipeline and I can’t tell you to much about it yet, more than that it will be a glamorous gala later this year and we will continue to work with some big recognized brands.

You are also interested in theater and politics, how do you find the time to do everything and how do you balance this very different areas in your life?

It is all about trying to find the balance every day. Some days I manage it really well and some days I get some trouble with not sleeping enough, but I know that you have to work hard and play hard for to make it in this world. Many of my friends in the same age as me is working all over the world around the clock, so I’m not alone living in that situation. I actually love the mixture business, art and politics, I feel more alive when I have a lot to do. I don’t like to do one thing at a time because I get bored so easily.

What is it in your opinion the most important thing when organizing an event and what makes it successful?

For to create a successful event it’s about all the details, at the same time as you have to have control over the bigger picture as well. I work a lot with press contacts which requires you to help the press with everything possible you can think of. First of all the press have to know when and where the event takes place and then during the event when everyone is there I want everyone to feel comfortable. It is important that all the guests feel pampered, seen and not overlooked. We are all there for to enjoy, the staff as well, so I try to think about everyone’s needs. That’s my job!

Which type of PR job do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy the most working with quality brands within fashion as well with companies with a lot of goodwill. I like creative companies with some edge and companies that stands out with a good energy. A company is built by people, so if the people working with the company is great, often it is also great to work with that company, no matter which business areas belongs to. I love to work with different companies – every customer is special to me!

Thank you for your time and I wish you all the success in the world.

Thank you Luisa.

Such a great roll model for the young generations, don’t you think? VIVA YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS!!! :-)

Miss Barcelona and Eva Littorin CEO at HoldMe

Hola amigos, Miss Barcelona is back with some comments on the last event Miss Lopez and I attended.

I am talking about the Fashion show and exposition held at SOSTOCKHOLM under Fortex 2012.

As always Maria Forssen Founder and CEO at SOSTOCKHOLM presented a very well organized and tasteful event this time in cooperation with CommunicatePR.

The decoration was warm and invited with a classic center table that seemed to be taken off from Maria Montazami’s house!! Maria is one of the starts at reality show Hollywood Swedish housewives and also a savvy businesswoman whose new bag and accessories were presented at this event.  VIVA MARIA!!

The other two brands presenting their creations were Fairytale and HoldMe.

Of the three brands I have t say that HoldMe caught my attention, because even when their business idea is to help you to improve your posture with their corrective gear, the material is so soft and sophisticated that you forget that you wear any posture corrector.

They also have a very nice range of other products such as belts and this sexy belt-corset with little crystals that not only supports your posture but is so stylish that will help you boost your outfits! VIVA HEALTHY & SEXY FASHION!!

This company is driven by Eva Littorin and let me tell you that she really represents the FEELGOOD WOMANHOOD’s spirit. She is a multitalented woman that not only is the CEO for HoldME but she also works as a freelance journalist and stylist. She has published in all the major decoration magazines in Sweden and styles several photo shoots from cooperative portraits to advertizing portraits.  She is always been passionate with the beauty in live and that is why she started HoldME.

After visiting her doctor and asked about corrective gear for her back, she wondered where could she find something that could help her correct her posture and be nice and stylist at the same time. There were not such products on the market but far from give up, she came up with the idea for HoldMe. She started developing corrective gear that would be nice and comfortable. VIVA BUSINESSWOMEN!!

Another big surprise for me was how young talented Patrik Bergfeldt is!, This gentleman is only 21 years old and he is already running his own PR company. How is that for entrepreneurial skills!! VIVA YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS!!

Feliz Navidad! The spirit of Christmas by Miss López and the assembling of Nativity for Christmas

There is something melancholic for me during Christmas with all the memories that come to our minds… Like “Poner el Belén”…or “Assembling the Nativity” at Christmas is one of the most deeply rooted traditions in Spain that I used to do as a child too. Still I remmember…in Spain. One of the most famous is the one that shows each year to the public the Royal Palace of Madrid these days, which can be visited free of charge since last Thursday December 15th and until January 15. This set in the pictures by the national inheritage of Spain presents the figures of Bethlehem according to history by Charles III for his son, the future Charles IV, in 1760. Cool!!! It comes from Italy too…

Amazing scenery and so realistic! The real spirit of Christmas for me! :) Viva good memories from childhood! Viva Feelgood Womanhood!

Check the pictures..

At the Royal Palace this old Nativity

So realistic!

yes Christmas a tradition for all. Still this is the origin and the reason why we celebrate: the birth of Jesus. More important than the presents you may get. Let´s see mine :)

Feliz Navidad & Merry Christmas & God Jul

Viva la Navidad & Feelgood!
