Hi, Miss Stena from Philippines living in Sweden. I am so happy I am getting used to the job now with Miss Lopez. I´d love to show you about my country…!

Philippines has a very rich Spanish culture. Even the name of the country was given by a Spanish explorer in honor of the Spain’s King. In the modern days, Spanish culture still lives among the Filipinos, from the Filipino names such as Lopez, Jose, Consuelo, Miguel, Reyes, Fatima, Corazon, etc to the language, also from Religion to Arts.

The most visible influence left by the Spanish culture is FOOD! Just to name a few of my favourites, Afritada, Brazo de Mercedez, Calabaza, Chorizo, Pastillas, Torilla, Arroz a la Valenciana, Tapas, etc.

Below is one example of the many Spanish restaurants in the Philipines, DOS MESTIZOS.

Hi! From Miss Lopez we are not going to preach you much but  for sure will try to give you some passion & inspiration!!

Whatever I got really impressed about this American 4 year old boy Kanon Tipton  preaching…A real media sensation, got to say! It may not be that much womanhood in it but for sure this must be passion you like t or not!

Life is amazing! As we say in Spain, you´ll never go to sleep without learning something new. Whatever!

Hola!! Lots of fashion today from Stockholm!! Today, me, Miss Lopez went together with Miss Miranda to the last fashion shows of the 2011 season at Mercedes Benz fashion week in Stockholm. Have you seen by the way, Miss Miranda´s latest post? Chek it out!

So during the day we went to the Swedish School of Textiles show, really interesting and then to Jennifer Blom´s show. There in the catwalk, my friend and model Yasai in a green jumpsuit. Isn´t it cool? I love it! Well done Yasai! Nice to meet Miss Lopez´s friends everywhere in Stockholm! This city is my home too!

Again we were there in the show as press and in the front row we could see many Swedish famous bloggers & international press among important people like from H&M and more… in the fashion world. Miss Lopez there too to share with you fashion news too!

By the way, I´ve made up a bit new sections & pages so front now, Miss Miranda´s posts, you´ll find them all together at Fashion! She is in charge of the fashion section at Miss Lopez. Cool!!

And then at night Fashion Night out! It couldn´t be a better fashion day! Fashion is art & the expression of yourself!

Nice to write to you back home in Stockholm! I´ve just arrived and always the first day after a long trip is a kind of adapting job…

So yes, today I had the change to see Stockholm Pride festival and as you can see the city was really crowded. There I met my friends that are going to help me with my next event. It´s been a nice day meeting people and taking it easy, I need it!

Miss Lopez is back after a lot of problems making my blog work properly. I still have problems with my Facebook Likes buttom as all Likes disappear once in a while…too bad! Actually is me who has to deal with the system alone and now I feel almost like an IT expert . I am not but I´d love to learn more… Still I must sort it out this problem as soon as possible. Thanks for the support! I feel “naked” without my blog working, Oops!! A very strange feeling, I should say… I need my blog. Viva Miss Lopez Blog and Feelgood Womanhood!

Such a warm day today in Sweden! You may not believe it but I look forward to travelling to Galicia/ Oleiros in in the north west of Spain to enjoy a milder fresher weather. It´s not just the north or south factor that makes a difference is temperature. There are other factors too like being close to the open sea…and here it´s so warm for me compared to Galicia just right at the Athantic Ocean. I´ll be blogging from there soon…Cool! Bye!

And today it was time for moving to a student apartment for Miss Miranda. She has been living with me since she came to Sweden so today we went to IKEA, the biggest one, of course in Sweden as it should be. IKEA is so Swedish!! Here she and I outside. The thing is Spaniards love going to IKEA, didn´t you know? It feels exotic and kind of a bit a sightseeing, and yes certainly this one is big. For me it´s not the first time I´ve been in this one but it feels so great Miss Miranda liked it so much to go to IKEA in Sweden. Viva IKEA ! Perfect for students visiting Sweden for just a few months like Miss Miranda! Nice to make people happy, don´t you think so? I am sure Miss Miranda is very happy in her new apartment in Gärdet with new curtains from IKEA. Good Luck Miss Miranda!
