Hola amigos, Miss Barcelona is back with some musical news from Stockholm.

Casa de la region de Murcia and Alfombra Roja organized a flamenco show last night in Stockholm. The group Giralda flamenco came from Spain to show us all their art and passion for flamenco. I have to say that I enjoyed a lot of this show. VIVA SPANISH MUSIC!!

I have a personal history with flamenco. When I was very young, 3-4 years; believe it or not; I used to dance flamenco in my kinder garden!! I don’t remember exactly me dancing but I do remember that once I went to buy a pair of red flamenco shoes, like the ones Rocío the dancer was wearing yesterday.

I did not continued with my dancing but my love for flamenco has remained very deep inside me and every time I listen to flamenco, my foot move alone and I want to dance, clap my hands and follow the music.

This is exactly what happened to me yesterday, while I was watching the show. This group is so good, you can really feel the passion they have and they transmitted it to the public. Gitarist Ingmar Paulo Stråth, dancer Rocio Suárez González and singer Augustin Sánchez Jiménez worked in complete harmony creating an intimate atmosphere were voice, music and dance were the stars. VIVA FLAMENCO!!

I can’t wait to go to the next show, coming soon to Stockholm. I can never have enough flamenco!!

Hola Amigos Miss Barcelona is back with some  amazing pictures from Kenzo’s fashion show.  This time la maison Kenzo (the Kenzo’s house), chose a very particular venue. VIVA FASHION!!

Instead of  showing their new collection at their atelier, they pick up the Pierre and Marie Curie University.

 

Université Pierre et Marie Curie, UPMC), is a university located on the Jussieu Campus in the Latin Quarter of the 5th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was established in 1971 following the division of the University of Paris, and is a principal heir to its Faculty of Sciences and it has been ranked as one of the top universities in the world.

 

Maybe Kenzo sees a relationship between scientific research and designers research for the newest trends, and that is why he chose the venue? In any case I have to recognize that it is  a shooking, original place. Not what one may expect for a fashion show. VIVA ORIGINALITY!!!

In a world where we think we have seen everything, this show has broken stereotypes; creating expectation; bringing originality to the table and by doing so; getting a lot of exposure on fashion magazines, blogs and press in general.

Miss Barcelona’s delicious “Jamón serrano”

 

Hola amigos, Miss Barcelona is back to share with you the highlights of my day.

To start the day full of energy and with some Spanish flavor from home, there is no better way than with “Jamón Serrano”( Spanish jam) sandwich for breakfast. It is super yummy and healthy.

I have to thank my dear friend Raquel for the present, every time I eat it my mind returns to Spain and I feel good. I really miss “Jamón Serrano”, it is one of my favorite Spanish foods. VIVA SPANISH FOOD!!

And from healthy food to science, in the afternoon we had a very interesting meeting at Karolinkska Institute in Stockholm; with the innovation department in order to get their guidance regarding a project we are working at the moment at Miss Lopez. We will give you all the details in the future but it would have to do with women’s health and self confidence.

Hola amigos, Miss Barcelona is back. There have been so many busy days this week at Miss Lopez, a lot of meetings and of course a lot of interesting events.

First a very nice business presentation form Foodism, this company has a very interesting way of brand your company and make a unique impression, trough food.

The same day at night, FINEST, a Swedish blog community celebrated their blog award at Café Opera and Miss Lopez and I were of course invited. Fun presentations, good music and a lot of people gathered at the club on this occasion.

 

Finally on Thursday we were invited by the magazine Lifestyle Wellness to the presentation of Jungfruresor in Sweden.

It was a very fun afterwork, Jungfruresor’s specialty are Ladies trips all over the world. I love this concept because gives the opportunity to women that are single or simply want to go on a fun trip but can’t find a trip partner, to have fun and meet people in a safety environment. VIVA FEELGOOD WOMANHOOD!!

The presentation was host at Villa Pauli, a fantastic mansion in Djursholm, Stockholm. Surrounded by gorgeous nature, hosting events in this place it’s literally like a fairy tale! VIVA GLAMOUR!!
